    Flagstaff, AZ – The Arizona Chamber Executives (ACE), managed by the Greater Phoenix Chamber, recently held its annual conference in Flagstaff, where nearly 100 chamber executives and staff members gathered for professional and community development and to celebrate excellence in the chamber industry. At the event, outstanding chambers and individuals who have made significant contributions to their communities through exceptional programs, advocacy, and leadership were recognized at the inaugural awards ceremony.

    “Chambers of commerce across the state are making a huge impact on Arizona’s economy and our communities,” said Sarah Watts, President & CEO of the Gilbert Chamber of Commerce, and Vice Chair of the Arizona Chamber Executives. “From advocacy efforts to innovative workforce solutions, chambers are making Arizona the best place to live, work, and do business. The Arizona Chamber Executives are pleased to highlight the great work of initiatives and individuals in the industry at our annual awards program.”

    2025 Award Winners:  

    Excellence in Advocacy Award The Peoria Chamber of Commerce was honored with the Excellence in Advocacy Award for its remarkable $1 Million Advocacy Win. When several local businesses were hit with unexpected audit letters claiming they owed significant amounts in back taxes, the Peoria Chamber sprang into action. Their efforts led to the City of Peoria voting unanimously to stop the retroactive collection of the amusement tax, saving many local small businesses.

    Outstanding Chamber Program Award The Chandler Chamber of Commerce received the Outstanding Chamber Program Award for its impressive Business Retention and Expansion (BRE) program. This initiative actively listens to the needs of businesses and responds with timely, effective solutions, fostering collaboration and growth throughout the community.

    Outstanding Membership Engagement Strategy Award The Eloy Chamber of Commerce was recognized with the Outstanding Membership Engagement Strategy Award. With a goal of increasing membership from 65 to 200, the Eloy Chamber exceeded its target, reaching 210 members through personal engagement and careful management of expectations.

    Community Collaboration Award The Carefree Cave Creek Chamber of Commerce was awarded the Community Collaboration Award for its Desert Foothills Leadership Academy. This program collaborates with local governments and businesses to provide comprehensive education on essential community and economic components, improving relationships between the mayors of the two towns.

    Industry Leadership Award Terri Kimble, President & CEO of the Chandler Chamber of Commerce, was honored with the Industry Leadership Award. With over three decades of experience, Terri has elevated the Chandler Chamber into one of the most innovative and impactful business organizations in the state.

    Emerging Leader Award Zach Yentzer, Vice President of Business Advocacy at The Chamber of Southern Arizona, received the Emerging Leader Award. Zach has created innovative pathways for business influence, demonstrated measurable results in organizational growth, and built coalitions that bridge sectors.

    Chamber Champion Award Joe Snell, President & CEO and Michael Guymon, Chief Advocacy Officer from The Chamber of Southern Arizona were celebrated with the Chamber Champion Award for their collaborative leadership in merging the Tucson Metro Chamber and Sun Corridor, Inc., strengthening the business community in Tucson.

    Lifetime Achievement Award Deanna Kupcik, President & CEO of the Buckeye Valley Chamber of Commerce, was honored with the Lifetime Achievement Award. Deanna's lifelong dedication to chamber service and her profound impact on the chamber industry in Arizona were recognized with this distinguished award.

    Prescott Valley, AZ – December 2, 2024 – The Prescott Valley Chamber of Commerce is pleased to announce the hiring of Steve Bracety as its new President and Chief Executive Officer. A well-known and respected community leader, Steve brings a wealth of business experience, leadership, and deep ties to the Prescott Valley community. He will start on January 22, 2025.

    Steve is no stranger to the Chamber or the Prescott Valley community. Over the years, he has demonstrated his commitment to local businesses and economic growth, having served two terms on the Prescott Valley Chamber’s Board of Directors. His leadership roles within the Chamber included serving as Chairman and Treasurer, where he helped shape strategic direction, fostered community partnerships, and worked diligently to advance the Chamber’s mission.

    In his most recent role as Vice President of Operations and Talent at Grace Hospitality, Steve was responsible for overseeing operational strategies and talent development, further honing his expertise in organizational leadership, community engagement, and fostering successful partnerships. His proven track record of excellence in business operations, as well as his passion for the Prescott Valley community, positions him to take the Chamber to new heights.

    “I am incredibly excited to step into this new role and work alongside our dedicated team and community partners to support the continued growth of Prescott Valley,” said Steve Bracety. “The Chamber has always played a vital role in advocating for local businesses, and I look forward to strengthening those relationships and helping to create new opportunities for our members and residents alike.”

    Steve’s leadership style is rooted in collaboration, community-driven values, and a deep understanding of the challenges and opportunities facing local businesses. His extensive knowledge of the Chamber industry, combined with his operational and leadership experience, makes him an ideal fit to lead the Prescott Valley Chamber into its next chapter.

    Chamber Board Chair Robbie Houle expressed enthusiasm about his hiring. “We are thrilled to welcome Steve Bracety as our new President and CEO.     The Tempe Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors is pleased to announce Robin Arredondo-Savage as the organization’s President/CEO, effective December 1, 2024. She has previously been serving in an interim capacity since July.

    Arredondo-Savage offers extensive experience, a deep understanding of the Tempe community and a proven leadership track record. She is an Army Veteran, former Tempe Union High School Board member and ASU alumni. Arredondo-Savage is no stranger to the Tempe Chamber, having served as Board Chair while working for her family’s business, Arredondo and Arredondo Insurance. And, as a former three-term Tempe City Councilmember, she is uniquely equipped to lead the Chamber into its next chapter. 

    "Robin’s visionary approach to leadership and her built-in relationships with stakeholders like the City and ASU made the thought of her guiding the Chamber into its next chapter very exciting. Over a very short period of time, I’ve seen her make bold decisions that I believe will only strengthen the organization. And lastly, the way the staff has rallied and supported her has shown me and the board that Robin is the right choice,” said Tempe Chamber Board Chair, Tom Binge. “I think we’re all excited to see what’s next as she works to support our thriving business community."

    As President/CEO, she will focus on creating opportunities for local businesses to thrive, advocating for the needs of members, and strengthening partnerships. Arredondo-Savage shared her enthusiasm for the opportunity to serve her hometown in this capacity. "As a lifelong resident, business owner and former City Councilmember, I’ve had the privilege of experiencing this city from many perspectives. I’m honored to lead the Tempe Chamber and to work alongside our incredible business community to strengthen our economy, foster collaboration and ensure Tempe remains a great place to live, work and play."
